About Santhwanamസാന്ത്വനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച്
Santhwanam is the social development and humanitarian initiative of the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. While it was formally registered in 2011 (Reg. No. 299/IV/2011), its charitable and social service mission dates back to 1887, serving the marginalized communities of Thrissur District, Kerala.
തൃശൂർ അതിരൂപതയുടെ സാമൂഹിക വികസന-മനുഷ്യത്വ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് സാന്ത്വനം. 2011-ൽ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തതാണെങ്കിലും, ഇതിന്റെ കാരുണ്യ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് 1887 മുതൽ നീളുന്ന പാരമ്പര്യമുണ്ട്. തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ പാർശ്വവൽക്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർക്കായി അന്ന് മുതൽ അതിരൂപത പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു വരികയാണ്.
