On July 24, Santhwanam, in collaboration with MISAT Charitable Foundation Thrissur, organised a Healthcare Assistant (GDA) Course Orientation Programme at Keerankulangara. The programme introduced career opportunities in the healthcare sector and was led by Fr. Joju Aloor and Dr. Fr. Jose Vattakuzhy.

Santhwanam organised an industrial visit for women workers of the Mullurkara Teddy Bear Unit to Body Gear International, Moovattupuzha. Led by Dr. Fr. Jose Vattakuzhy, the visit provided practical exposure to quality control and modern production systems.

മുല്ലൂർക്കര ടെഡി ബിയർ യൂണിറ്റിലെ വനിതാ തൊഴിലാളികൾക്കായി മൂവാറ്റുപുഴയിലെ ബോഡി ഗിയർ ഇന്റർനാഷണലിലേക്ക് വ്യവസായ സന്ദർശനം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഉൽപ്പാദന സംവിധാനങ്ങളും ഗുണനിലവാര നിയന്ത്രണവും നേരിട്ട് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ ഇത് വനിതകളെ സഹായിച്ചു.

As part of the Santhwanam Surgicals Project, essential medical equipment such as medical beds and wheelchairs were distributed to new beneficiaries. The initiative aims to support bedridden individuals and reduce the medical burden on families.

സാന്ത്വനം സർജിക്കൽസ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഗുണഭോക്താക്കൾക്ക് മെഡിക്കൽ ബെഡുകളും വീൽചെയറുകളും വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. കിടപ്പുരോഗികൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ പിന്തുണ ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനും കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ ചികിത്സാഭാരം കുറയ്ക്കുന്നതിനുമാണ് ഈ സഹായം നൽകിയത്.

Santhwanam organized entrepreneurship training and loan distribution programs for SHG members in 2026. Key activities included an entrepreneurship workshop supported by NMDFC and the completion of a mobile repairing course to promote self-employment and sustainable livelihoods.

Pudukad: Santhwanam organised a one-day training programme on masala powder production for members of Santhwanam Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from the Thekke Thuravu and Chittissery areas of Pudukad. The programme was organised in collaboration with the We-Lead Kasafi Organisation with the aim of strengthening the skills and livelihood opportunities of SHG members. The inaugural session was presided over by Rev. Fr. Christon Perumattil, Parish Priest of St. Antony’s Church, Thekke Thuravu. Dr. Rev. Fr. Jose Vattakuzhy, Associate Director of Santhwanam, inaugurated the training programme. Ms. Sangeetha, an experienced trainer, led the sessions and provided practical training on various aspects of spice powder production and related topics. Ms. Raseena, Coordinator of We-Lead Kasafi Organisation, offered felicitations. More than 50 SHG members participated in the one-day training programme. The programme was coordinated by Alfa, District Coordinator, We-Lead Kasafi; Raseena, Field Coordinator; Sr. Jismaria, Santhwanam Project Coordinator; and Sonat Charly, SHG Animator, Santhwanam. The training provided participants with practical knowledge and skills that can support livelihood development and income-generating opportunities through spice powder production.
