Building a Drug-Free Society through Community Action
സമൂഹ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തിലൂടെ ലഹരിമുക്ത കേരളം കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കാം
SAJEEVAM is a comprehensive project aimed at building a Drug-Free and Healthy Society. Recognizing the growing threat of substance abuse among children, adolescents, and youth, Santhwanam – Social Apostolate Centre, Archdiocese of Thrissur has joined the SAJEEVAM project of CARITAS INDIA and Kerala Social Service Forum (KSSF). The programme focuses on creating awareness, strengthening family and community support systems, and enabling timely intervention.
ലഹരിമുക്തവും ആരോഗ്യകരവുമായ ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെ കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സംരംഭമാണ് 'സജീവം'. കുട്ടികൾക്കും യുവാക്കൾക്കും ഇടയിൽ വർദ്ധിച്ചുവരുന്ന ലഹരി ഉപയോഗ ഭീഷണി തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ്, തൃശൂർ അതിരൂപതയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള സാന്ത്വനം, കാരിത്താസ് ഇന്ത്യ (Caritas India), കേരള സോഷ്യൽ സർവീസ് ഫോറം (KSSF) എന്നിവയുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് ഈ പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നു. ബോധവൽക്കരണത്തിലൂടെയും സാമൂഹിക ഇടപെടലിലൂടെയും ലഹരിവിമുക്തമായ ഒരു തലമുറയെ വളർത്തിയെടുക്കുകയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
SAJEEVAM adopts a preventive, educational, and community-based approach by mobilising schools, colleges, parishes, youth groups, parents, and law enforcement agencies.
സ്കൂളുകൾ, കോളേജുകൾ, ഇടവകകൾ, യുവജന സംഘടനകൾ, മാതാപിതാക്കൾ, പോലീസ് എന്നിവയെ ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള പ്രതിരോധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളാണ് സജീവം ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നത്.

പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി താഴെ പറയുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കി വരുന്നു:
A unique feature of the project is the formation of community-level Anti-Drug Task Forces. These groups include parish representatives, teachers, youth leaders, women SHGs, health workers, and police representatives. They coordinate prevention activities, identify vulnerable cases, and facilitate support efforts.
ലഹരിവിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ താഴെത്തട്ടിൽ ഏകോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി ഇടവക പ്രതിനിധികൾ, അധ്യാപകർ, പോലീസ്, ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകർ, കുടുംബശ്രീ അംഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവരെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി 'ടാസ്‌ക് ഫോഴ്‌സുകൾ' രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നു. ലഹരിയുടെ ഇരകളെ കണ്ടെത്താനും അവർക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ ചികിത്സയും കൗൺസിലിംഗും ഉറപ്പാക്കാനും ഈ ടാസ്‌ക് ഫോഴ്‌സ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
We also observe International Day Against Drug Abuse (June 26) and other occasions through massive public campaigns and pledge programmes.
അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ലഹരിവിരുദ്ധ ദിനം (ജൂൺ 26) ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രധാന അവസരങ്ങൾ വിപുലമായ ക്യാമ്പയിനുകളിലൂടെയും പ്രതിജ്ഞാ ചടങ്ങുകളിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങൾ ആചരിക്കുന്നു.
