The Santhwanam Jute and Cloth Bag Manufacturing Unit is a key part of our Women Village Facilitation Centre (WVFC). This dedicated training and livelihood centre was established to empower rural women through entrepreneurship development and sustainable self-employment opportunities. The centre helps women acquire market-oriented skills and build livelihoods that improve family income.
ഗ്രാമീണ വനിതകളെ സംരംഭകത്വത്തിലൂടെ ശാക്തീകരിക്കുന്നതിനായി സാന്ത്വനം ആരംഭിച്ച 'വനിതാ വില്ലേജ് ഫെസിലിറ്റേഷൻ സെന്ററിന്റെ' (WVFC) കീഴിലാണ് ഈ യൂണിറ്റ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് തൊഴിൽ നൈപുണ്യങ്ങൾ പകർന്നു നൽകുന്നതിനും അതുവഴി അവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക ഭദ്രത ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനും ഈ കേന്ദ്രം ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു.

സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് സ്ഥിരവരുമാനം ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം, പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് സഞ്ചികൾക്ക് പകരം പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹൃദമായ ഉൽപ്പന്നങ്ങൾ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാനും ഈ പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ സാധിക്കുന്നു.
As part of our livelihood initiatives, we successfully implemented a 45-day Jute Bag Making Training Programme with the support of NABARD under the Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP). This training equipped 30 rural women with practical skills in designing, cutting, stitching, and finishing high-quality eco-friendly bags.
നബാർഡിന്റെ (NABARD) സഹകരണത്തോടെ 45 ദിവസത്തെ തീവ്ര പരിശീലന പരിപാടി ഞങ്ങൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കി. 30 ഗ്രാമീണ വനിതകൾ ഈ പരിശീലനത്തിലൂടെ ബാഗുകളുടെ ഡിസൈനിംഗ്, കട്ടിംഗ്, തയ്യൽ എന്നിവയിൽ വൈദഗ്ധ്യം നേടി. ഇത് അവരെ സ്വയം സംരംഭകരായി വളരാൻ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കി.
Following the training, 10 women continue to work regularly at the centre, producing premium jute bags and reusable cloth bags for institutional orders, exhibitions, and local markets. We focus on quality production standards to meet market expectations and ensure long-term sustainability for our workers.
പരിശീലനത്തിന് ശേഷം നിലവിൽ 10 വനിതകൾ ഈ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ സ്ഥിരമായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു. വിവിധ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഓർഡറുകൾ പ്രകാരം ഗുണമേന്മയുള്ള സഞ്ചികൾ ഇവിടെ നിർമ്മിച്ചു നൽകുന്നു. വിപണിയിലെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കനുസരിച്ചുള്ള നൂതനമായ ഡിസൈനുകൾ ഇവിടെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു വരുന്നു.
