Towards a Clean, Green, and Sustainable Energy Future
Santhwanam, in collaboration with DHI Adithya, implemented the Net Zero Project (Purappura Solar) to promote the use of solar energy as a clean and green energy source among household residents. Inspired by the vision of Pope Francis, the project aims to encourage sustainable energy practices and reduce household electricity consumption.
The project contributes towards a net-zero future by supporting families in adopting rooftop solar energy, effectively reducing their electricity expenses while protecting the environment.
Under this initiative, more than 120 beneficiaries have already been supported in adopting rooftop solar energy systems. This project also complements the PM Surya Ghar initiative of the Central Government, providing an accessible pathway for families to transition to renewable energy.
